Hugo was born October 3, 1875 in Westpruessen to Herman G. and Auguste Kerber. See his parents history for his trip from Hamburg to New York to St. Joseph, Missouri and then on West to San Diego, California where he spent the rest of his life.
All that is known about his wife is her name and the information engraved on their gravestone. She was born 1875
A 1910 Census reports their residence was San Diego Ward 2, San Diego, California and household members: Ella A. Kerber, Harry E. Kerber and a Thomas C. Brown who was Edith's father.
