Evelyn Joanne Kerber, always called Joanne, was the only child born to Leslie Gayle and Dorothy Maxine Vance Kerber. She was born September 23, 1933 in St. Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri. She was born between her Aunts Betty Ann and Clara Belle; daughters from her Grandfather Herman Henry's second marriage to Louise Seifert Marker Kerber.
Although she was my first cousin, I have only been with her a handful of times. We were separated by miles and divorce. I remember her however with great fondness. She always had a smile or laugh, a very loving kind woman. Sadly, we have lost touch. After her mother passed and she settled things, she went back to North Carolina I believe. I'm hoping somehow she or one of her children will see this website and contact me so that I can let her know about her family members who are now gone and also give me some information to be included on these pages. Until then, I can only share pictures passed on to me by the family and what little facts I know.
